Single point failure error

Your test for single point failure is in error. It reports that all NS's are on the same block, when in fact they aren't.

Hi Mara,
which is the domain you're checking? Can you give more details?
Thanks!

RE:Single point failure error

Hi there,

Your test reports all name servers as being in the same class C if more than one name server is in the same class C, i.e.:

example.com. IN NS ns1.example.com.
example.com. IN NS ns2.example.com.
example.com. IN NS ns3.example.com.

ns1.example.com. IN A 10.0.0.100
ns2.example.com. IN A 10.0.0.200
ns3.example.com. IN A 192.168.0.100

Will cause a KO fail, where in fact this DNS configuration is sane.

Thanks,

Andy
